MINISTRY UPDATE
The last 12 months has been a tremendous months of our ministry. We experienced a lot of victories as well as challenges of our faith. Because our previous facility could no longer accommodate the people that the Lord has added to our church. Last August of 2006 we took a big step of faith to rent an additional and bigger building for our church as well as our youth center wherein we feed hungry children, minister and train believers to become leaders.
YOUTH MINISTRY
These past couple of years we experienced growth explosion in our church especially amongst the young people. Hundreds of souls were added into God's kingdom. We penetrated the high school and university campuses with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. So far we have campus ministries in ten (10) high schools and universities in our city. We are impacting the youth and their parents that our church building is now overflowing. Three years ago we started with 30 young people but now there's over 500 attending our youth services every Friday night aside from other 200 more that just attends in cell groups. We call our youth "Regeneration".

YOUTH HARVEST EVENT
Last September 27, 2007 we rented a bigger auditorium and did a youth evangelistic Harvest Event and over 2,000 young people showed up and hundreds of them came forward to receive Jesus into their hearts. The power of God was so strong that they were crying of the conviction of their sins as they came forward to receive Jesus. Now we are so busy consolidating and following up these new believers.

WEEKEND ENCOUNTER
After they received Christ we bring them to Weekend Encounter Retreat. It's a three-day retreat where they encounter God through the revelation of the cross, inner healing and deliverance and also experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A vision is also cast to them that they should share their new faith to their loved ones and friends. This is also the time that they are water baptized. This year we already conducted three encounter retreats. The last one was in November. There were 81 participants and majority of them are new converts and backsliders. It's great to see these new believers experienced the power of God in the encounter. When they went home they were set free from all bondage and we see them miraculously changed. In fact some parents of these young people are now attending our church because of the changed they saw on their kids.

CELL GROUP
One of the very important factors that grew our church is the cell groups or home meetings. We are so happy that our goal to have 100 cell groups this year is almost achieved. Our cell groups are evangelistic. Our members invite their neighbors and friends to cell group meetings and preach to them the Gospel. We see to it that new believers are plugged into a cell where they are nurtured and taken cared of by a cell leader with a goal that every member will become cell leaders themselves. Our vision next year is to have 200 cell groups.

SCHOOL OF LEADERS
The goal of our church is to make every believer a leader. We believe that God just didn't saved us to go to heaven but also to become witnesses for Christ. We apply the principle of Ephesians 4:11,12 that the duty of a pastor is "to equip the saints for the work of the ministry". School of Leaders is a one-year program of the G12 Ladder of Success to raise up leaders. Today we have 75 students and 15 of them will be graduating by the end of this year. We have 80 post encounter participants that will be the new batch of students for S.O.L. next year. As each of these students graduate they are expected to have their our cell group and disciple people to become leaders.

FEEDING PROGRAM
These last few months we were able to start ministering to the poor and less fortunate people of our society. Every week we reach out to the poorest section of our city and feed the hungry children. A large percentage of families in our city are living below the poverty line. A lot of children go to bed at night without food in their stomach. Every now and then as funds will allow us, we also do a medical outreach in the squatters areas. As we do the feeding and medical outreaches, we also seized the opportunity to share the gospel to the parents and those who needs medical attention. Through this ministry a number of families are already attending our church are now now being discipled through our cell groups.

Please help us pray for this ministry that God has entrusted to us. We have plans to do more but we could just do as much as our resources will allow us. We have so many open doors and opportunities. Pray for that our goal for next year to have 200 cell groups will be achieved and that these new converts that we are taking care of will continue to grow in the Lord and that they too will become leaders themselves.
